GUIXAR-COMMERCIAL DOCKS

The access by road to the commercial docks of Guixar, Arenal, Transversal and Commerce is controlled from a guard house located in its main entrance, in which are the dependencies of the Port Police (entrance control) and the Civil Guard (control of exit).In this access there are two entry and two exit routes, equipped with an automatic reading system for license plates and barriers.The intercom provided by these accesses allows the user who intends to enter or exit to communicate with both the Port Control Police (local operator) and the Control Center, so that this communication is always conveniently attended.In this area there are gates monitored and manipulated from the IGS, from any computer of the Port Police, in order to allow the passage of special pieces or have an emergency exit in this area..

TRASATLANTICOS QUAY

The access road to the pier of Transatlantic is equipped with a guard house operated by Port Police 24 hours (control of entry and exit), with an entry and an exit, which has an automatic number plate reading system and of barriers.

BERBÉS-BEIRAMAR

The Fishing Port is equipped with a guard house operated by the Port Police 24 hours (entry and exit control), with one entrance and one exit, equipped with an automatic reading system of license plates and barriers.

BOUZAS

In the port area of ​​Bouzas, there are two fundamental points of access control:

  • One at the entrance of the Ro-Ro Terminal and Free Zone Area, with the premises of the Port Police (entrance control) and Civil Guard (exit control), both with automatic license plate and barrier reading system.

  • Another one in the access access to the Repairs dock, with a guard house of the Port Police (control of entrance and exit), automatic reading system of license plates and barriers. .

 

Pedestrian Access Controls:

GUIXAR-COMMERCIAL QUAYS

A pedestrian access connects the Comercio Quay and Praza da Estrela, and is the only pedestrian entry and exit route for this port area. It is equipped with a camera for the identification of autorizhed personnel to access the dock, which is managed from the Control Center, among other posts. In addition, it has two card readers that use RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, by means of which the authenticity of the card is contrasted with the database located in the central server of the SIG. It also has an intercom system for communication with the Control Center.

TRASATLANTICOS QUAY

The pier of Transatlantic is free pedestrian access, except a restricted access area that is controlled from the Control Center, by a lathe equipped with a camera for the identification of authorized personnel, two RFID card readers and an intercom system for communication with the Control Center.

BERBÉS-BEIRAMAR

The Fishing Port of Berbés and Beiramar have several pedestrian access control points, with a camera for the identification of personnel and  RFI cards readers.

BOUZAS

In the port area of ​​Bouzas, pedestrian access to the Ro-Ro Terminal is not authorized.
