A wide historic and cultural Shorex offer is available at the Port of Vigo, including Santiago de Compostela World Heritage city, the close Portuguese border and traditional medieval towns like Baiona or Tui among others; besides Celtic settlements, Romanesque churches or modernist and eclectic architecture. Nature and landscape are also a highlight, mainly due to its wonderful estuary, with beautiful beaches including, the idyllic central beach of Cíes Islands, listed by The Guardian “the best beach in the world”. The rich local Gastronomy, based on fish and seafood is very well known, as it is Protected Denomination of Origin “Rías Baixas” wineries, with Albariño white wines worldwide renowned.
